Downloaded the iPad app to see what thats like, and have already deleted because I wont use an app that forces me to use portrait mode. I use my iPad in Landscape. All the time.
You're all highlighting what I see as the drawbacks. The UI gets in the way more than I would like. It is quite easy to create material but it's the portrait/landscape inability to zoom/built for mobile bit that grates slightly. I like the overall look of it and it looks like a nice idea for "lookbook"-type stuff but I think it has issues and usability constraints that prevent it from being truly useful. Ah well, worth a try...!
Interesting. I've been telling stories on Instagram, which the right panel of Stellar resembles. I'm about to take a big cross country trip this summer and am sorting out what social platforms I will use. Thanks for sharing, will investigate further.
Right now, it frustrates as much as it intrigues, I'll be honest. I'll persevere a bit further but it's a more mobile-orientated UI than I'm comfortable with, given I keep virtually no images on my 'phone itself so upload is a two to three step process.
