I bought a Carl Zeiss 135mm from E.Bay over the weekend, it arrived today & It's ok for what I paid for it, very pleased in fact. It's lot more compact than I thought it was going to be, for a 135 it's tiny which is a real plus. I'm hoping the M42 to M4/3rds adaptor turns up soon - I've got itchy fingers. That's two legacies now - more to come I'm sure.

Looking forward to seeing the results. The new Zeiss APO 135mm f2 Sonnar is on my list after seeing some photos. But since it's bulky and expensive, I hesitate. So I am curious how this one performs!
  4. Hope you enjoy it.

Have fun. The Sonnar 135mm/3.5 has a good reputation and there exist not many bad 135mm legacy lenses.

congrats, a very nice lens. 3.5 makes it pretty compact. if anyone is interested in a downright small but really good 135/3.5, give the petri in m42 a try. yes petri. i promise you wont be disappointed if you can find one.

Nice looking Lens. Buying legacy glass is a slippery slope.
    I only have 2,3,or 4... Dozen. :D

 I'll get somethng sorted this week, Andy. I've been busy with diy house stuff for a while but it's almost at an end now. Decent weather is forecast for us Englanders all this week as well so I'll take a drive out somewhere nice one day.
