The world is going to miss him. I am old enough to have seen many of his fights and listened to his pre and post fight speeches. The man had great dignity and humanity.

The news here in the UK is dominated by his passing. I am not surprised. By and large I think we all loved him here in the UK....even when our 'enry (Cooper) was cheated out of a win

So, another light has gone out and I; for one, don't think it can ever be replaced.

Hear hear. The man hat wit, style, panache, intelligence and a rich sense of comic timing. He had a voracious appetite for life matched by boundless humanity. RIP.

    simply "The Greatest"

a great quote from his long-time rival George Foreman on Ali's passing "A big part of me died when he passed away, I call it the greatest piece."

you should be able to figure it out...
Yeah, and willing to go to jail for his beliefs. An inspirational guy for sure. I'll miss his presence, but OTOH he looked so ravaged lately, he's probably better off out of pain...
