I was approached by an interior design company that is interested in using some of my photographs from a particular location as the basis for some graphic artwork that would be used in yes, dare I say it, a MacDonald's that is in and around this location, that is this particular small city... They have showed me examples of what they do...and it's kind of a half tone approach... The images would need to be approved by the owner of the franchise and they'd only be used in this one "restaurant". I've asked about rights, payment and photo credit but would welcome any input and advice should any of this come to fruition. Right now they are asking if they can use the photos as a "placeholder" to show their client and see if he or she is interested. Not sure what that means...perhaps it means they want to run the images by the client? Any thoughts from anyone with experience at this sort of thing? Thanks in advance!
