Nice series Pete. I guess it's British, but similar get togethers aren't that unusual elsewhere, although maybe not over flowers and not often on such a grand estate! I love the last shot of the little guy and the lion! -Ray
Thanks Ray Hylands House was built in the mid 1720's in the Neo Classical style with over 500 acres of grounds; and gardens created later by Sir Humphrey Repton. Its last private owner died in the 1960's and the estate was taken over by the borough. During WW2 it was a German POW camp and for a while the HQ of the SAS. It doubled as the White House in a 2004 film "Chasing Liberty". Apparently it is the 2nd most visited attraction in the UK (1.8m visitors in 2014); a fact which surprised me considering that the Tower of London received just over 3m visitors and is infinitely more interesting.
