Sony Sony SLT-A33 vs Panasonic G1 camera size

I posted this at another forum so thought some might be interested here. The A-33 itself is about the same size as the Panny G1. The lens is what makes it look bigger. I took these with my Droid X so they are not that great.

I was thinking of getting an A55 to replace my A350.
Although I've a G1 and GF-1 I can't get excited by m4/3 ; size too big and quality not APS-C.
Perhaps the next generation of m4/3 sensors will save the day and really compete with the compact APS-C cameras.
 
EVF for the A33 is the equal of the G1. High ISO up to 1600 is better than the G1 too, but that's because of the bigger sensor. I've read the A33 has a very good sensor. Still playing around with the Tamron 18-250 too.
