If I am not tired, I sometimes drift out in the car with my camera gear to look at likely places for a midnight shoot. I like the sense of being alone and hearing noises of the night, feel the night closing in like a cocoon.

This is Maldon (again) I love shooting here at night ......tide in or out. Always pitch dark but you can draw extraordinary amounts of light out off it.

It's indeed amazing how much light you get. Although I like your photos (as always) very much, I must say that I prefer some "night" in night shots. Especially the last one would be gorgeous with a dark sky. Just my very subjective opinion, of course.
