When in Venice, not

So it's very early Saturday morning, and we hop on the car and head northeast, home of the waters.
Sun is away on holiday - rain welcoming us, long chat and after a walk in the rain we head to Strà, on the Riviera del Brenta, to Villa Pisani which was ancient when Napoleon bought it.

Reaching it is easier than expected.

It's beautiful and huge, and pics inside it are very very verboten, and they mean it. Then, out - in the sun.

We reach the maze, and after a while we are on the tower.

The journey with you was wonderful and interesting, as always - but this last image has left me salivating for dinner!

Picture wise, your second is my favorite - it has a surreal flare, but perhaps it is just the magnificence of the whole scene juxtaposed with our 21st century beings amidst the statues...and the intense color. Great stuff, Alf!
