Hall of Famer
So this weekend was full of fun times. Non stop all weekend.
First off was the afternoon Community Gathering for Fountain Hills. This is a social time which includes a variety of Christmas Trees from local organizations, a couple of model train displays, Christmas tree decoration making for the kids and plenty of snacks.

20mm SEL and NEX-6
Next up was the Downtown Fountain Hills evening which concluded with the lights being turned on. Mostly included walking downtown, seeing various displays presented by local groups/vendors. There also was a horse pulled ride and plenty of lights to be seen.

Still using the 20mm SEL and NEX-6
Did some quick family portraits, (not taken by me).
Hay ride fun
We were having so much fun, I almost forgot to take a few shots of the lights.
Finally Sunday night we went to the Mesa, AZ LDS Temple grounds for some more light perusing, (ongoing till the end of the month).
Christmas Lights on the Mesa Arizona Temple Grounds – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
This time I took the 50mm SEL for the extra F Stop factor.
Just love how this one turned out
And concluding with a Nativity expo from various part of the world. The lighting was a bit odd in there, not very conducive to shooting, without some set up time. In addition I still had the 50mm SEL on my NEX-6 which is not the ideal for these kinds of shots. Still pretty neat to walk through and see all the different displays.

Such a busy weekend, with lots of great memories.
