Panasonic First walk with the LF1

Very nice output. I'll be looking forward to the eventual and inevitable comparsons with the RX100 and RX100II. I'm sure the Sony's will win on the pixel-peeping level but the LF1 might still be the better, overall, take-everywhere camera.

I think so too, sensor might be smaller, but its large enough, and with that extra reach and a little EVF... winner.
 
Agree completely with you guys. For what it is, it's a superb camera.

I had a lot more in response originally, but I'll post it as a mini-review instead.
 
Here's a bit of the reach the LF1 can get. Low light (evening, overcast), stationary (but wary) subject. About a half-crop, and 200mm equivalence, hand-held, 1/6th-second exposure. Yes, the stabilization plus using the EVF for increased stability gives great results:
