It's difficult to respond without sounding chippy about this, but I simply prefer to let the pictures stand on their own merits.
They are, if you like, their own context, and the pictures constitute the vocabulary. If the only thing about them that arouses interest is the equipment with which they were made, then from my point of view I've rather failed.
I understand that people are interested in the process, but it's simply information I think is superfluous (unless I don't, in which case I'll include it - which will infuriate people who like consistency ... and anyway, if you click through to the image on Flickr, I'll have tagged all the information anyone wants anyway; which means I treat Flickr viewers and SC viewers differently ... hehehe ... )
