Fuji Shooting a profile pic with the X100 goes horribly wrong

I promised a dear friend I would shoot his profile pic (official handout picture, he's a designer) when I met up with him in Goa.

It started out well enough.

Then the family came in and basically took over the shoot
We'd have been upset, but they were just too darn cute

I like the color with the green background the best, the second is the backlit one though I might do black and white and the family shot is just adorable :)
 
Great shots that capture his friendly, approachable attitude - I find that the X100 can turn out some great head & shoulder shots despite then wide lens (works fine for 3/4 length and H&S but shows distortion for head shots only - great quality images though).
 
I usually crop in. Essentially the 35mm has the longer focal lengths built in. All these headshots would be a 65-75 mm equiv fov with enough negative space around. For my kind of purposes, mostly web and small prints, I don't mind losing the info.
