I have a Samsung EX1 and cannot upload RAW images.
Basic system info.
Windows Vista 32 bit
Kingston 8GB card
The camera came with the most counter intuitive software I've ever used called Intelli Studios.
This is apparently the same as Silkypics. The disk also allowed me to upload Samsung RAW Converter 3.
Uploading jpegs is simple enough but Silkypants is so awful
that I upload them to Picassa. This is intuitive , quick and a pleasure to use for jpegs.
My problem is uploading RAW images.
The RAW images can clearly be seen on review so I assume have been recorded to the memory card. The computer recognises the card correctly as Kingston removable disk. But nothing is uploaded.
When I open Samsung RAW Converter 3, it says no files to edit. I downloaded Samsung RAW Converter 4 but have the same result.
I have tried using a card reader but the results are the same - nothing
Adobe photoshop indicates ' no valid files found '
When reviewing the files in camera, the RAW files are correctly marked RAW and the images look fine.
If I shoot a mixture of RAW and jpegs it's only the RAW images that fail to be recognised.
Any idea's what this could be ?
Richard
