Fuji Given the "X-mounts," would you really even want to shoot with Leica?

I agree with your assessment Bernie, but Fuji is known to have done some interesting things in the recent past. I remember, when the X100 came out, there were a lot of people who said Fuji won't do well but IMO, they did pretty good. I understand and agree with you that a B&W only camera might...

    Fuji Fuji Demographics?

I'm 29. My real photographic journey started in 2007, so I guess I am relatively young/new to this field :). Having said that, I like good looking cameras and more so when it produces delicious images like the Fuji X series does.

Fuji Given the "X-mounts," would you really even want to shoot with Leica?

Like I said, if Fuji makes a black and white camera, I am all in for it; I am not even going to look at Leica. Yes, sharpness is one aspect of it but what I like was the way the tones were rendered. I understand and accept that this can be done with post processing, but I am a lazy guy. If I can...

Fuji Given the "X-mounts," would you really even want to shoot with Leica?

Thanks Gary, never thought of that option. I was skeptical about the monochrom until I got to play with one at the Leica store here. It just felt right and even the test shots kinda blew me away. I understand I could have been blinded by the Leica brand name, or may be not. The resolution was...

Fuji Why do you love your Fuji?

It comes down to IQ for me. The Fujinon 35mm is such a special lens. Makes me smile every time I shoot with it :).

Fuji Given the "X-mounts," would you really even want to shoot with Leica?

If Fuji ever releases a camera like the monochrom, I'd probably never shoot with a Leica. If they don't and I have the funds, I'll definitely get the monochrom in the future.

    Fuji X Pro 1 + Macro

They look nice Christy, though I'll admit that with focus by wire macro might be frustrating. I prefer setting the magnifications and then moving in or out with the setup to get the subject in focus. I do not have a 60mm macro lens, so I'll probably get a Nikon to X adapter and try macro with...
