Thanks for the link & advice guys - interesting stuff. I do have a Bessa R so its still tempting from a film-perspective but it sounds like its better to go with something more modern/native on my Z.

Just curious. I occasionally see good prices on Voigtlander LTM wides - the 15mm f4.5 Heliar for example. I can see adapters to Z mount but curious to see or hear of peoples experiences with these smaller lenses on Z bodies. I see a couple of manufacturers make native Z mount ultra-wides but...

Man the Q was just such a golden opportunity missed... the next one after the Q-S1 would have been perfection if it was just slightly bigger. I griped about my K-01 and its sticky shutter, saying "Don't do that again". Ditto the slow buffer clearance on the K-5. And the appalling UI on the GXR...

Zone focus, half-frame... sounds fixed-lens-y... I guess if they're targeting the younger shooters it can't be too expensive.... will be fascinating to see what comes out of this process. If its just a plastic compact then I'll probably pass. Fingers x-ed this works out for Pentax.

Not the appropriate lens for these shots but it was what I had on at the time + interesting to get a feel for what it can do. Not critically sharp as the wind was blowing so manual focus was always going to be tricky. I like the results though... the 180mm has nice rendering and the pics process...

Still use my D700 & D600. Not as much as my Pentax DSLR's but they're a little lighter and handier. While I have the Z6 and enjoy its more modern shooting experience it lacks a little something compared to the DSLR Nikons (maybe its pure nostalgia).
