The 75 is a pixie dust lens, I think every mft user should try it , but the focal length can be awkward in some situations so may not be a high use lens for many. The 56mm is also lovely and it's removed my desire for the 45/1.2 .

I will, hopefully, start to get out and take other shots, but for now my usual usage is to just quickly grab a camera and walk to the front yard. These one's are pretty noisy as i underexposed the jpeg and then discovered i didn't have a Raw file as the 2nd memory card was full, lol.

L. Mono D on the G9 etc is beautiful. One of my favourites, and I've considered buying another Panny body just to have it. I tend to use JPEGs a lot ( all of these recent Bee shots are JPEGs, not processed raws) so a lovely jpeg monochrome mode is very useful.

Ok , you've inspired me to get the Gx8 out. I was shooting bees with the Om-1 , so I put the 100-400 on the Gx8. Focusing is slower and I was losing the light , but this is a jpeg at iso4000 . I think it stands up to any current MFT sensor pretty damn well. Technically, the G9 / OM1 etc...

Yeah, uhs-1 is really weird. Not that I'd ever use it for long bursts / buffering , but you'd think anything built in 2024 would be uhs-2.

It's a lens I have under consideration , I'd like something wider than the 35mm. I'd go with the 2nd version for the aperture ring, I think.
