Most "portraits" I'll ever shoot with a Q would be environmental in nature, so it's very unlikely that the person would fill more than about 20-25% of the frame. If I really want get close up and personal, I could use my M7 and 90mm Summicron.

Agreed - lovely set. Yes, I've recently got an M(240) and used it in the rain with my Leica M lenses and no problem. However, it was light rain. I'm not sure I'd take the risk of using it if I was in rain like we experienced in Sri Lanka a few years ago.

They've brought out a load of new / updated cameras and also new / updated lenses in 2015. My guess is that this activity has driven a number of committed Leicaphiles to buy additional / replace existing gear and, as a lot of the new kit is digital and, in most cases, quite attractive looking...
