Micro 4/3 Useful trick the LX100 can do

Nice. I love the LX100. Awesome camera.

We just bought a new motorhome with a king size bed. Kimber gives it her highest approval. As fast as she's growing (40 lbs. now at 5 1/2 months), we're going to need the king size bed to give her some sleeping space with us.

Micro 4/3 Showcase Panasonic LX100 I/II picture thread

Much as I enjoy and appreciate a good variety of m4/3 bodies and lenses, the LX100 goes with me wherever and whenever I go. And it's often used, even with the other m4/3 gear just as close at hand. For me, the LX100 is a grand-slam homer for photographers. Superb image making machine that...

A lot of nice work here with the GR, folks! Definitely inspires me to dust mine off and get back to using it again. I've fallen from grace for a while, shooting with other cameras (m4/3 and Sigma DP Merrills).

    Micro 4/3 Olympus Pen-F announcement v.soon.

Yep... That was it for me too. Having multiple cameras, you don't have to require each camera to do everything you might want. You can have one for this and another for that. For me, for most of what and how I use a camera, the PEN-F meets the needs and I'm surprised that my initial doubts...

Hey RT. Nice to see you again, my friend! Long time! Ya know, over the last 7 years or so that I've been using the m4/3 system there have been several times where I either considered or actually bought into a different system - thinking that I might leave m4/3. Nothing pulled me away...

    Micro 4/3 Olympus Pen-F announcement v.soon.

As for m4/3, I've been using a GX7 and to a lesser degree an EP5 since they each were released. Seems like a LONG time since I've bought a camera (nice, for a change!) I've lost any attraction that I ever had to cameras with pentaprism-esq humps mid-top, and center-placed EVFs. Though I do...

Micro 4/3 No Love for the New Panasonic GM5?

Three options, as I see it. 1) Pay the price and be squared away with it. 2) Wait for the price to drop, then go for it.. 3) Give it up and do.... some alternative and be happy. Life is incredibly short, indeed. Go for the gusto whenever you can, or you may regret it when your time...

Sigma Sigma DP Series Image Thread

Hi Bill... while it would be nice to have all three, yes, I do think that if you have the DP1M and the DP3M, that the 2 would probably not see much use and may not make a lot of economic sense.

Julian... you have created some fantastic images with your Merrills. And you're right, the details that can be captured are simply amazing! I have just begun my imaging journey with the DP1M and DP3M, so I'm really looking forward to the imaging opportunities that lie ahead.

Micro 4/3 No Love for the New Panasonic GM5?

Plenty of love for the GM5 AND the LX100! In fact, springing for both LX100 and GM5 is such a fine idea that I decided to jettison both my E-M5 and E-PL5 (keeping GX7 and E-P5/VF4) and pre-ordered both LX100 and GM5 with 12-32. I'm so excited about these two new cameras that my relatively...

Awesome work, Serhan. Thank you. Wow... those comparisons are amazing. I'm beginning to have more interest in the A7 and in the GM1. Lenses for A7 are still going to be the key element for me... time will sort this all out, of course, as it always does. I'm sure I will maintain a...

j... I didn't realize that the RX100 is smaller than the LX7... that's nice! I haven't looked into how IQ compares between the two. ? I know I prefer 24mm equiv. on the wide end over 28mm, but that isn't necessarily THE most important criterion... but is relatively significant!
