Looking forward to seeing some shots from all these lenses you have and thank you for the update. I loved the M9 but had no real attachment to it so it was not that hard to sell it and not get another Leica. Although you never know with the new M-E being so cheap compated to other Leica bodies.

Thank you. I got the lens for £25 so for that price I am really happy with it. Since getting the Z7 it has been so much fun adapting my M39 and other M mount lenses on it.

Here in Denmark they have a 3000kr (around 450 USD) discount on the Z7 kit with adapter and 24-70mm f4 lens plus a free 64GB QXD card and I bought an adapter to use my leica fit lenses on the Z7 so it was too good to pass up.

Went a little crazy and sold my Nikon D800 and Leica M9 and bought a Nikon Z7 and pre-ordered the new Leica M-E.

I can see the Sony version going for around £140 UK pounds and you say this will be more expensive so I am hoping it will not be above £200 UK. Sorry for the slow reply but i have been travelling :-)

I have the Zeiss Biogon 35mm which I love but I have been waiting for this lens with a lot of interest. Very good view and I think for me it comes down to price, if its cheap enough I will give it a try.

I have used my M9 in Norway at -20c and no problems and a Nikon D800 in Greenland in -40c and again no problems. Just keep it in a good bag and take it out only when you will use it. I had more problems with the cold than the cameras did.

I always set the lens manually on the M9 but the DxO modules that are available for Leica don't seem to make any difference to me anyway but I do use the Leica profiles in LR as they seem to help with barrel distortion. I like the RAW processing in DxO buy seems to take me longer to get the look...

Hi, Yes I use DxO and Lightroom.

Could not agree more, its a nice lens but seems to have very little contrast and just very dull. I can fix it in lightroom so its not too bad, I think I am just used to Zeiss lenses from using them with Nikon and Fuji.
