Sony I tried zone focusing. It worked.

Tom Congratulations some terrific shots using the zone focusing technique. I may have to try this with my RX100

Ricoh Will Ricoh ever produce a digital GR21?

Yes the gw3 is an option but ultimately its an add on. It would be great - if it were possible, to have a 21mm digital GR in a "pure" form.

Ricoh Will Ricoh ever produce a digital GR21?

Hi guys Having very recently joined the Ricoh club and become a real fan boy, I'm giving serious thought to getting one of their original GR film cameras Obviously the GR21 has earned a bit of cult status but in your opinion do you think they could produce a digital APSC version without...

Thanks Aleksander and Kyteflyer. I'm glad I asked the question

    Ricoh TAv Mode and ISO

Kyteflyer - there is a max ISO setting in the menus but doesn't appear to apply when camera is in TAv mode. Hence why I thought I'd missed something in the instructions manual I do hope they introduce it in the next firmware release

    Ricoh TAv Mode and ISO

I've not tried Ap Priority- my natural preference is to go manual, but ill try that. That's a good idea. If I could set a max on TAv I'd be quite happy if the shot didnt come out at all. In a perverse way for me it would be easier to accept than an image that was noisier than a tap dancing...

    Ricoh TAv Mode and ISO

Ray ooh great- if there are any tricks that would be great. Perhaps a firmware update or do you think that's unlikely?

    Ricoh TAv Mode and ISO

Hi Maybe I've just missed it in the instructions manual but is there a way to set a maximum ISO when one is on the TAv mode on the GR? For those unfamiliar the TAv mode is effectively a manual mode but allows the camera to set the ISO I really like this mode but it's deeply frustrating when...

Ricoh GCSB Protest, Auckland, NZ (Image heavy) Feat. Ricoh GR and OMD

Absolutely brilliant story and a beautiful set of shots The "snap" mode in the Ricoh GR models to allow for zonal focusing is absolutely wonderful and I can see how it would be perfect in the situation you were in I very much hope you will get further opportunities to use your cameras to such...

    Sony Rookie

Hi BMW - I'd get several ie 3 or 4 if I were you- not because you will necessarily exhaust all of them in one day but its always good to have back ups I'd recommend the San Disk extremes class 10 ones - and get a couple or three of 16gb and if your budget will allow it one 32gb

    Hello from London

Hello everyone. I can't believe I've only recently discovered this site- it's fantastic. I've been into photography on and off since my late teens - I'm now in my thirties, but during the last 5 or 6 years with the onset of digital have preferred DSLRs (and perhaps explains my lack of...
