    Fuji All Aboard! (X100S)

Thanks! No, these are not SOOC jpegs. They are RAWs that I edited in Lightroom, which I did my own manual adjustments on. The soft blacks can be achieved by adjusting the blacks in the Tone Curve in Lightroom.

    Fuji All Aboard! (X100S)

Howdy folks! With my wife and daughter, I took my X100S along on a train trip through part of Colorado, between Denver and Glenwood Springs. We've never ridden the train, so just the getting there and back was as much an adventure as being there! Some of you may enjoy, so feel free to take a...

Yes, certainly feel free to print the file. And I agree-- the level and detail (AT ISO 1600!!) is amazing. I made a blog post related to high (ish) ISO and what it looks like to dramatically push those JPEG files. Check it out- Fuji X100S Jpeg Pushed ISO Test - Brian Kraft Photography

Oh, I just remembered that I had posted a full-res SOOC jpeg that you can download that was part of a street set I recently posted here- Fuji X100S Street Photography - Brian Kraft Photography You can grab the file from the text section at the beginning of that blog post. That will give you a...

    Fuji X100S - Full Wedding

Thank you. I would by no means judge the camera's handling of contrast, micro-contrast, or skin detail by my photos. You should probably look at people posting photos as SOOC to make those types of evaluations.

Thanks, all! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Overall, very sweet little camera.

    Fuji X100S - Full Wedding

So, the on-board flash does not let you rear-curtain sync, but you can set an external flash to rear-curtain and it should work... I *think*. I prefer first-curtain syncing in general, so I haven't had a lot of experience with rear with the X100/X100S, but if I remember correctly from testing...

Fuji X100S SOOC File For You

I've had a lot of requests to share a file straight out of the camera, with no post-processing. So, I've put a jpg file up. If you're not looking at the EXIF data on your own, do note the camera settings I shared (esp the ISO 1600). See "update" to get the file-...

Fuji X100S in Denver - Samples

Thanks for the kind words, guys. spinyman, I'm updating my thoughts on the performance of the camera on my blog as I can. I've added some thoughts on the AF and other aspects since I started it. Do check back on it, as I will have further thoughts to share, no doubt. Here they are...

    Fuji X100S Street Photography

All my shots are from jpeg files with all the default settings left alone. Anything seen as "flat" or whatever is just my own PP. Just my own artistic choice. The camera provides nice contrast.

    Fuji A magic machine

Magical indeed! We've now come upon 1 year since I have had my X100 and took this set of travel photos on a trip to Maui, Hawaii. Looking back after a year, I'm just as in love, if not more with the camera. I have decided to upgrade to the X100S, but I'm hoping the new retains that magical...
