    Micro 4/3 Say hello to my li'l frien' . . .

I like your earlier sunsets post, too. Where did you find the GM5? They seemed to have become rare....and expensive used.

Pentax How do you like your Pentax K-5? And please show us some of your photos!

Wonderful photos! I just bought a K-5 and then the 55-300 separately. Trying it out this weekend, I took a shot at full telephoto of Chester. The shadow was severe, and yet I simply processed the JPG by lightening the shadows, adding some sharpening, and a little exposure, and the photo looks...

    Expired Olympus E-PM1

This Olympus E-PM1 camera body (without lens) is in excellent condition. I bought it last week from the previous owner and decided that I prefer an internal EVF. The camera has less than 500 shutter activations. The camera kit is complete in that it comes with everything that originally came...

Micro 4/3 Images from the Panasonic Lumix G3

I like the photo of Buster, as well as another one at your website. On the website, #15 with the sunset (or sunrise), could you tell me the EXIF information?

Micro 4/3 Ordered E-PL2 to replace G3: Is that foolish?

I just posted a photo from the G3 with the newly-received Olympus 45mm f1.8 lens in the Images from the Panasonic Lumix G3 thread. The camera and lens complement each other well. It reinforces both the capabilities of the G3 and the advice that quality lenses play a major role in whatever...

Micro 4/3 Images from the Panasonic Lumix G3

G3 with Olympus 45 f1.8 lens I just received the new lens, put it on, and found my most cooperative model. Simple post-processing in Lightroom 3 using fill light and crop. I like the lens.

Micro 4/3 Ordered E-PL2 to replace G3: Is that foolish?

I tried out the E-PL2 and surprisingly (to me) preferred the G3! The newer sensor really makes a difference, which was visible in working with low-light shots particularly. The handling is marginally better with the E-PL2, mainly because the lens is just a little further from the right...

Expired Panasonic G3 kit with 14-42 lens $495

Panasonic G3K kit with 14-42 lens is just short of six months old. I bought it from Kenmore Camera on 6/19/2011. I estimate no more than 1,500 shutter actuations. It is in excellent condition, looks and functions as new. The LCD has been covered from day one with a simple, non-adhesive lcd...

Micro 4/3 Ordered E-PL2 to replace G3: Is that foolish?

Yes, the file size certainly seems as though it could be a contributing factor, even with fast cards. I have read people saying the G3 is slower than earlier (12MP) G cameras.

Micro 4/3 Ordered E-PL2 to replace G3: Is that foolish?

The touch screen, while useful at times, is really less attractive to me than better controls. I will be interested to see how the E-PL2 works. The greatest concern is whether the AF is too slow in low light, and secondarily is whether the shot recording time is not too quick.

Micro 4/3 Ordered E-PL2 to replace G3: Is that foolish?

I still have the G3, as it is my only advanced camera, and so will be able to do some comparative shots even if a limited number. The new E-PL2 was only $60 more than the refurbished ones available right now (even if it is red instead of the usual black) and it will arrive today instead of late...

Micro 4/3 Ordered E-PL2 to replace G3: Is that foolish?

I have been generally pleased with the G3 that has been with me since June. But there are a few things that bother me a bit. One is the white balance, that never seems as good as what I would get (JPG or RAW) from the E-PL1 that I had but which was stolen. The controls system is not quite as...

    Micro 4/3 E-P2 to G2 - some experiential observations

I just received a G2 on Friday and tried out a manual lens on it today. It did exactly what you said with the brightness of an image, and I thought perhaps I did not remember correctly when I had tried the E-PL1. But it must have been that the E-PL1 was better in this regard. I found that your...
