How many cameras do you currently own?

I know. It is weird, isn't it? Sometimes I sit and look at all this stuff and I start to question my sanity. o_O At least I do not have near as much as Irene. ;)

How many cameras do you currently own?

Two Lumix GX9 bodies Three Lumix GF1 bodies of which one is converted to IR Eight m4/3 prime lenses and two zooms A newly acquired 4/3 Lumix L1 with the Leica 14-50 zoom And finally, about a dozen toy film cameras, of which I am a casual collector

Panasonic Anyone have any experience with the Panasonic DMC L1 Four Thirds camera?

Andrew, mine just got here and I have to tell you, I don't believe it was ever used before. Everything is in absolutely perfect condition. I could not be happier. The wife and I are going to an art festival Sunday and I am taking it along with me. Should be a lot of fun.

Panasonic Anyone have any experience with the Panasonic DMC L1 Four Thirds camera?

You will not be disappointed in that lens. They are a bit hard to find and can be pricey. I've seen them go from around 450.00 to 800.00 or more depending on the condition of the lens.

Panasonic Anyone have any experience with the Panasonic DMC L1 Four Thirds camera?

What a coincidence!!! I am having one delivered today along with the Leica 14-50mm 2.8 / 3.5 lens. I owned one of these years ago and used it for about 2 years. When I made the move to m4/3, I sold the L1. I have always regretted that, mostly because I missed that wonderful lens. The one...

I don't live too far from you, in Granbury. In Acton, which is right next door, they are planning a watching event at the Acton Nature Center. I am going, but not really to shoot the eclipse, but more to shoot the folks watching the eclipse. Cloudy or not, I am still going and see how it...

Game Called - Granbury, Texas - Summer, 2005 This was shot back in 2005 with a Bessa R2a rangefinder camera. The film was Neopan pushed to 1600, if I remember correctly. 2005 would be the last time I shot film, except for some toy film cameras I play around with from time to time. And the...

Film How long does film last past the expiration date

I would immediately move all the film to a fridge, or better yet, to a freezer. Before you shoot a roll of refrigerated film, set it out for about an hour or so and let it come up to room temperature. Start a test roll with a roll of the of the oldest film you have. I would only shoot no more...

Film How long does film last past the expiration date

Back in my film days, I kept an old refrigerator in my darkroom for film and paper. Film can last many years after the expiration date if you keep it cold. You can even freeze it. Right before they pretty much stopped processing Kodachrome here in the States, I was shooting Kodachrome that...

My first m4/3 camera was a Panasonic GF1. After years of shooting Nikon gear, I moved to m4/3 in 2009. I currently shoot GX9s, but I still have a soft spot for the GF1, warts and all. Yesterday, I purchased another GF1 body in mint condition for $67.00. I should have it in the next few...
