A very nice camera indeed. A 1938? Lucky find. And also lucky to find a competent technician to work on it. Does Youxin Ye happen to have a website?

In my younger days when I rode on a regular basis, a weekend ride would be 30 miles, so 48 kilometers? The daily rides would average 10 miles, so 16 kilometers? Aushiker, if I may ask, how many miles a day are you averaging on your back country tour?

Cool shots. I love old ghost towns. Is this in Colorado? I googled and found one in both CO, and PA.

And living in their parents basements. Funny thing is, these yahoos are protesting the very things and people that allow them to do so. We call them snowflakes on this side of the pond for a reason, they have no real substance, and when they run up against serious opposition, they just melt away.

These two used to both belong to a couple friends. They were completed within the same week, and had sequential serial numbers. What are the odds of that? And here we are returning to the Channel Island harbor in California on the boat on the right above under power on a windless day.

I've had this problem. Had a great Minolta scanner, but it seems the newer PC operating systems won't support film scanners anymore. I think you have to get a machine that runs on windows 95/98 or XP that is dedicated to run your scanner. I'm hoping that somebody that knows more about this will...

Yeah, that about sums it up. Especially since the little XA and XA2 were about the same size, but shot full frame 35mm. Even though it's been years since I have shot film, I can still put my hands on either one of those. The APS camera? Meh.

Thank you! One thing that surprised me about the XA2 is how well it did in low light. I don't know if I even have the prints and negs from it anymore, but I have shot candids at a meeting once using TMAX 400 I think it was, and the images came out quite well. I was impressed with it.
