    Micro 4/3 Showcase Panny-Leica 42.5 f/1.2

So, it's a keeper then. I have also the 12-36 (kit lens) for street. It is fast to lock on and I have rarely missed a shot with it. Quality bit of kit and the big, heavy 42.5 f/1.2 doesn't make it feel unbalanced to my mind.

    Documentary Night Clubbing Again

Thanks Irene. Diverse is a good description. I still consider myself lucky as opposed to those who left this mortal coil too early, or are in terrible pain. I hope to get back into street work once a few things are sorted.

    Micro 4/3 Showcase Panny-Leica 42.5 f/1.2

I have no chimney for Santa to drop down so I treated myself to a new lens. A tad over £500 got me the Panny-Leica 42.5 f/1.2. I thought it a decent price as it was immaculate and 1/2 the brand new cost. Not had too many chances yet to get out and about to do some damage with it, but I am...

    Sony Sony A7iv/Sony 35mm f/1.8 - Protest

In town (London) for the pro Palestine protest to see what I could get out of it using this camera/lens combo. Pleased with the outcome. I just take pictures, so I make no comment of the politics other than to say "There are people and there is politics". Unfortunately, the ones who get hurt...

More nightclub shots from Electrowerkz in Islington North London. The first 4 are real people but backgrounds and a couple of bits (like the web) were added in PS Generative Fill. It's quite good fun....addictive actually! Nice bunch of people there. 3 floors of boom boom boom music and...

Timeless. If not for the clothes could have been taken any time in 1950's or 60's. Reminds me of Vivian Maier's shot of the bored kids in a car waiting for return of driver.

Nightclubbing Hi Contrast B/W Street Style

I get the right royal hump at photo club competitions where the winning entry is almost always a portrait of a woman, pouty trout lips, push up boobs, suggestive pose and a created background thingy (can't remember what it is called). This is the reason I started going to "weird night clubs"...

    Sleepless....Not in Seattle.

When I was a kid, the only way to get denims ripped at the knee was to fall off your bike. That would also earn you a clip round the ear from Mum or Dad. The admiration you got was not so much about the hole in the garment but about the crusty, festering, bloody looking and weeping scab.

if the makers of tools, motorbikes, fast cars, BBQ's etc used their heads...they could make a fortune. Simply, pay shapely young girls to advertise products/services on the girls shorts/jeans. They'd be minted, because (I don't mind if I admit it, and that is why they are worn) that is where...

What books are you reading for pleasure these days?

Not reading this yet, but I intend to shortly. Any man who leads his troops into battle whilst sat stark naked on a horse gets my undivided attention. I know very little (i.e. NOTHING) about Finland and its history....especially with Russia. Seems a good time to look it up at present.

there was a guy sent to prison last week for dangerous riding one of these. He collided with an elderly lady on the pavement and killed her.. I have no idea how you would start off one of these things and why you would want to travel at 20 mph in a pedestrian area. Nice shots though!
