Other than the larger trees, most of the vegetation hasn't sprung for spring yet. Still mostly shades of grey around the greens. And I've shown these shots multiple times, need to find different perspectives/ shooting locations.

Scorpions, snakes, and spiders - oh my. Flood debris in the riparian area makes a good home for all sorts of critters, creepy-crawlies, and things that slither. Have to watch where you're stepping.

Pre-eclipse walk this morning. Parking lot was almost full (only had space for a couple more vehicles, most crowded I've seen it), was passed by a few walkers and passed a couple handfuls walking the path the other direction. Felt great to be out and about.

A waste of a day. Wind the last couple of days kicked up a lot of allergens, and with the door/ window seals in the apartment being almost non-existent I'm dealing with the effects today. Trying to rest up and knock symptoms down a bit so I can try and get an image while out and about...

Spent way too much time messing with photos this mid-day. Not too happy with this, but IMHO it's best of the batch for today. Hanging around in the hovel due to Spring high winds 25-40mph with occasional gusts over 50mph (for our metric folks, 40-64km/h with 80km/h + gusts).

Boring wrist check while waiting and waiting and waiting for laundromat equipment to get done. And allow the solar to soak up some sun.

Ack. I guess I need to call family up north and see how much they got.

Right now we're looking at a forecasted 20%-ish cloud cover and winds in the 15-25mph range. My inadequate support is going to be vibrating like crazy in those winds. Still looking like I'll just sit back and enjoy the show. Might try to get a crowd shot if there are a group taking images.

Day 2, almost. Wide dynamic range so shot at -2/3ev in "Soft" custom setting with 3-shot HDR at +/-1ev then adjusted a bit in PDCU.

My allergy symptoms are going to hate me, severely, this evening. :ROFLMAO:
