Fuji What are you shooting this weekend?

Been busy with distractions and started a part time job. I have been away from my camera and my motorcycle. Finally getting out Sunday for some of this: :dance2:

All great shots. Man, the perspective that the 12mm can relate... spectacular!

Ahh, the colours of the night. I love them.

    Fuji Nikon 105mm F2.5 Ai on XE2

Nice one, Andy. "Old glass" that most people would no longer even think of can be magical. From your settings, it's also a reminder that good things can happen at F/5.6 So many would have insisted on shooting that wide open just cause they had a fast lens, and likely would have blown out and...

    Wartime in the Cotswolds

Making me feel like a lazy slug, Ian! It occurs to me a person has to typically leave their house to play. Your images are very motivating... all good. I mean GREAT.

One of those graffiti shots would look good hanging on someone's wall output to canvas! ;)

    Fuji Showcase 55mm f/3.5 Micro-Nikkor

Rocky, (Greg) did you say what Fuji body you were working from? And-- message to gryphon, those pics are amazing from the Olympus! I used to have a foot into Olympus and loved it, but I confess I never tried adapting lenses in those days. Those pics are so crispy-sharp naturally and have a...

    Fuji Showcase Fuji 10-24mm f/4 R OIS

Sweet mother Mary... those 10-24 shots are all over the top (nice). Great. Now I have yet ANOTHER Fuji lens I have to save $ for. :cautious: Question, do you guys recall or note if you are typically falling into a groove of using it pulled back all the way to 10mm most often, somewhere in the...

Fuji Could my X-E1 be dying?

I'm not sure about either of those points, sorry. I know sometimes, maybe once a year or so I dig around in the menus and do a mass "revert or return to factory settings" to get rid of possible custom-gremlins I may have caused myself.. it can cure some woes.

Fuji 60 mm Macro.....found a good use for mine

Those are sweet images Bernie! I really like the composition in your shots and the end results.

Fuji Could my X-E1 be dying?

Hello, Battleaxe. For me, I think it has been in pretty clear situations of dark vs. light. I think it may be something to do with distance-to-target, or shooting or attempting to shoot at things relatively close to me. I don't think I have had it occur during landscape type shots, it is more...

Fuji I got a Fuji medium format camera

Gosh-good-golly that's a purty camera. Like a vintage automobile, it looks amazing just standing still. :clapping:

    Cheltenham with the X100s

Nice shots! I suddenly want to go to DISCOUNT TOOLS! Looks like a fun place. I think the Fuji X100 series is pretty incapable of taking any bad images. ;)

Fuji Could my X-E1 be dying?

Porchard (above post) described it well. I don't think there is anything really broken on your camera (Battleaxe). I have had two X-E1's and both have had those odd-ball occasions where they seemed confused about the light, and I could not manually correct it at that moment. If you run into it...

All winners in my book, Ian. That lens you have seems incapable of anything except home-run shots!

    Red & Green

Never seen anything like that Mike, it's intense. They indeed look "established". Things starting to come alive in Minneapolis here to. Lots of rain, but supposed to be nicer today and Saturday, I must get out with the camera.

Waterfalls of the New River Gorge (photo heavy)

Beautiful pictures and a wonderful geographic area. Never been down that way, but it looks prime for a good hike. +1 for the ole X-E1. For me, it's the Fuji body I bought twice . Always a reliable performer. I got my 2nd one for around $279 brand new (import model). It's worth twice that...

Fuji RAW CONVERTER ? XT1 FILES.

It's my understanding that you may need to have the Cloud version of Photoshop to crack Fuji raws. I know my CS5 on a PC will NOT crack them directly. I love Lightroom, but for the life of me I can't figure out what they were thinking with the whole "workflow" experience. Much of it is like...

    You Become The Art BTS

Bobby, what lens did you use for these? Fantastic shots. I also like the idea of natural light or available light shots. Nothing against those that work with all kinds of lights and flashy-strobe things, but I think it kills the spontaneity sometimes. Great pics.

Thank you, Britanica. It served as a reminder to me that sometimes there are cool targets close to home that I have long overlooked. I have traveled farther and come home with so much less!

    Fuji Sharpest Fuji lens?

That's why it took me 9 months Mike! I could claim some hemp-sandal wearing crap about how it was "about the journey", but mostly it was about biting off more than I could chew, embarking on a project that was above my game.

    Fuji Sunset @ Catho.....Fuji XE-1 18-55mm Lens.......

SCORE! Those would look great output to canvas and hung on your wall (or in a GALLERY!). :bravo-009: I slowly am regretting bailing out and trading my 18-55 shortly after I got it. A very capable contender in the right hands.

Fuji Photoshop CC & .RAF files

Gadzooks. Adobe has been dickering with their updates across the board. Their "updates" over the weekend to my Creative Suite Cs5 ended in disaster too. I typed up a rant elsewhere on the forum today about it.

Fuji The dreaded Adobe Validation pop-up warning.

Over the weekend I got a version of the pop-up below when I went to open my legit copy of Photoshop CS5 on my PC. I have been running Photoshop CS5 and the Adobe Creative Suite since about 2013 on my Windows 8.1 machine that I built. It was legitimately purchased and I still have the package...

    Fuji Sharpest Fuji lens?

Ha! yes brother Mike, I understand. But it was part of a motorcycle rebuild. A ground-up refurb-refitting of a first generation Kawaski 'Versys' I worked on over 9 months. Motorcycles are a passion of mine, well- right after PIE and cameras. It also was a 27mm Fuji lens pic (apologies for...

    Fuji Sharpest Fuji lens?

If/when you can occasionally find the 27mm for sale cheap, it can be pleasing to use. I have other lenses, but the 27 is such a compact little performer, even indoors with available light.

Fuji Only 2 Lenses to choose

It's funny how clear it is that many of us think alike. When I had Canon and or Nikon gear, I was constantly trading up, down and sideways to try to find the complete "Zen" setup. It was not until I got away from those that things started to be clearer to me (in my images and metaphorically...

Fuji Only 2 Lenses to choose

Great writings and pics, Adam. I enjoy reading about other people struggling with the affliction I think we all share. It helps to off-set my own guilt then when I make purchases... Yeah, that 23mm.... I am doing my best to pretend it does not exist... I know I would love the focal length and...
