    A Few Zombie Walk Shots

X-T2 is used when the walk started. 90mm f/2 lens, CL mode and zone tracking in AF-C. Just a few shots. You can go to the talkemount to see my other post for this event.

    Fuji Face-detect autofocus performance: X-T1 vs X100T

Bear with me for a little bit off-topic, I found that the X-T10 face detection is really bad. Most of the time the eyes are out of focus, and I am talking about in good constant lighting in a studio. I have to disable the face-detection and I am able to get sharp pictures as I expected. My...

    Some Halloween Parade photos

The NYC Halloween parade is more like a big street party. I have to say the makeup and costumes are not professional at all except for a few people and groups. Some people just walked in with nothing on...I don't mean clothes. :) Anyway it's dark after 6 pm. I used my XT-10 at ISO 6400 and...

    New York Zombiecon with X-T10

There are some reviews on the net. IMO the 90mm lens is a little bit heavy, AF speed is super fast. The IQ is comparable with Olympus 75/1.8. I would recommend to read the review on Admiring Light blog. :)

    New York Zombiecon with X-T10

I tried to manage that. :) Anyway I ordered the L-plate with hand grip, it didn't arrive before the event. I think with the grip it will be better.

    New York Zombiecon with X-T10

As I said in the talkemount forum, this New York Zombiecon is a fun event. I brought my X-T10 with 90/2.0 for fast AF-C and ideal portrait shots.

New York Comic Con First Day

Yes, most are 1.2 or 1.4. I only used small apertures for a few group shots. The 56mm lens is great, but it indeed would hesitate more comparing to 90mm lens when focusing.

    Waku Waku + NYC

It's said "Waku" in Japanese means "excitement". This is a Japanese pop culture festival in NYC. Cosplay, Lolita fashion, Tokyo Underground...you love it or hate it, it is just a unique culture event. I don't think US will embrace this culture soon. X-T10 and XF 90mm, XF 56mm.

Fuji Pow Wow with my X-T10

Just my experience, you know...first I had the x100s, but I had the A7 too, so the 35mm range was a little bit overlapped. The 55-200 lens is great from all the reviews I could find and I am comfortable with this range. So I got the X-E2 and lenses. I wanted to wait for the X-E2 firmware update...

Fuji Pow Wow with my X-T10

I used to have a x100s and a X-E2. I don't know about the xpro1 sensor though. I got the similar colors from X-E2/55-200 combo, maybe because they have the same sensor.

Fuji Pow Wow with my X-T10

So I took my new X-T10 with 55-200 to the native American Pow Wow last weekend. The camera is fun to use. With AF-C, CH, Zone 5x3, no Pre-AF, the tracking is not that bad. For fast moving object, the initial lock is not great with 55-200 lens. I think I can practice more to improve the overall...

    Fuji The 90mm F2 lens

My copy had dusts inside so I returned it. I didn't get another copy. Now I am thinking, if there is no OIS, it might be hard to use it especially in dark places/indoors.

Fuji Update: Fujifilm, you disappointed me (XF 90mm lens)

Update: I sent the lens back to the dealer. They have the best customer service indeed. I asked them to check the inventory to see if they could send me a replacement with no dust inside. Today the dealer told me that sadly all their 90mm lenses in inventory have dusts problem as bad as the one...

Fuji How is the X-T1 AF performance NOW comparing to A6000?

Thanks guys. I used to have a Sigma 35/1.4 on 6D, that's a great combo. For 50mm range, I prefer my 55/1.8 on A7. On my X-E2, I prefer the 56/1.2 and 55-200. I heard good things about X-T10 AF performance. So anyway I just sold my A6000. :) If my next 10% off ebay coupon arrives, I might jump...

Fuji How is the X-T1 AF performance NOW comparing to A6000?

I have a SONY A6000 and a Fuji X-E2. With the 4.0 firmware, how is the X-T1 now comparing to A6000? How is the X-T10 vs A6000? I googled but there were no such comparisons based on the latest firmware update. I am thinking to sell my A6000 and get a X-t10 in the near future, but I really want...
