It's not yours until it's in your hands :-)
Your ok, it was just a skip around the question, that they should know better than to ask hehehe
if I had that conversation with my husband it would have gone like this,
"Your not going to buy one are you?"
"Now you know you shouldn't ask me those...

Got my new X-E1 in the post this morning :-) I love it! It's the all black one, would have liked the silver but they didn't have one :-(
It just feels soooo good! and retro! The build is wonderful :-)
Here is my first photo, I couldn't wait to use it, now the battery is on charge :-(...
I'm waiting for my X-E1 to be delivered, but I did hold one in store and it's fantastic! I can't comment on the X-pro1 as I have neither owned one nor held one but the X-e1 just did it for me, so much like the X100 yet has that fantastic zoom kit lens, I can't wait!!!!
Hope your dad gets better soon Steve!
and I love my X cameras as like most have said, they are so much like what we used years ago it's just lovely to hold them and look at them :-)
I can't do black, might be my eyes, it's why I rarely go to DPreview, I see the writing in front of my eyes for ages after :-(
But the background on my macbook air is definitely black!
I like the muted blue tho :-)
I think it's ourselves to blame, if the X100s takes awesome photos today then it will do so in a few years if it's still working, it's our thinking that there is new and better that shoots ourselves in the foot.
Went out with the LX7 today, it really is a very nice little camera! Anyway, this is one I liked of our town hall, edited in silver efex pro.

I'm here still with no time to photograph anything at the moment tho.
I hope it doesn't become a them and us thing with the two sites as I'm on both and they are both great! :-)
I get my new X100 hopefully this week, so I'll be sure to post some photos!
Here are a couple from my last X100

Well, I bought a second hand X100 this morning :-) so that's one half of my problem solved! I think if I sell s couple of my other cameras I'll be able to have an X-E1 as well, or the X20, the options just keep on coming on! hehehehe
I always followed my dad with his cameras, then with my own in the 80's. and from then into the digital age, I love taking family photos to make sure there is something for the future :-)
