Fuji Anyone else using Alien Skin Exposure? Share some images...

I realized that I forgot to set the sharpening in Capture One since switching to the X-T2. After correcting that, C1 is back to being on top for me. Alien Skin does do a very good job with Fuji files.

I have been comparing them side by side all week. In my opinion, Alien Skin gives the better final image of the two. I like the colors out of Alien Skin much better. And Alien Skin has the Fuji factory film simulations if that is important to you.

Seems very similar to On1.
I'm afraid to download the trial and want to jump to another program and lay out the $$

OnOne does have the price advantage right now. They are running a special on photo raw 2018 for $79.99.
Just wondering how many different photo apps you use.
I have several, don't know if its common practice, or if its getting out of hand.
I use Old Luminar Creative Kit 2016, old Nik plugins, Iridient and on1 Photo Raw
Had DXO pre Fuji and Aperture before that

I just have Capture One with the Nik plugins, which I never actually use. And Affinity Photo for when I need a better healing brush than I get with Capture One. Or to add text to images with it looking professional and not like a meme.

Once a year or so, I will try out different software to see if I can get better results from my images than what I am getting from my current workflow. I'll switch if I find I get better results from something.

My trial is about to run out with Alien Skin and I like it enough it has become part of my editing about 75% of the time. I ruled out Luminar and OnOne. I may actually buy this program. I like it as a plug in. I know my whole purpose of starting the other thread on giving up Adobe CC was to find an Adobe replacement but I don't see that happening. First I set the white and black point in LR , adjust shadows and highlights to taste, crop if necessary ( I try to compose in the viewfinder so I don't have to crop anything but it happens ) then its sent to NIK Define for NR. Then I send everything to PS because if there's anything to remove I don't use anything else. And finally instead of going to Topaz if I need that look Alien Skin has completely replaced it with the Fuji film simulations. I'm liking this program enough to buy it I believe. My workflow is surprisingly fast until I get to Alien Skin, I can play with their different looks for a while.

I'm still in the trying period but I really like the way Exposure X3 works. The results are also of my liking. It's an easy program that gives me the possibility to try out things in a simple way with immediately results. Yes, I really like it, more and more.

If I compare it with Picktorial than the " looks" of Exposure X3 are prettier and more important, it has the possibility of layers.
If they put in CA correction and the possibility of using LUT's it will be almost perfect . . .
