Early March

Took a different route on our off-trail hike today. Quite warm for early March, but the winds were quite chilly, so it was a shorter excursion than usual.

The expansive feelings and vast vistas were especially rewarding.

Looks beautiful out there. I threw away a perfectly beautiful afternoon here for nothing. I stayed home to get some chores done, and ended up not having what I needed to get two major chores completed. Kicking myself for not planning ahead better.

I just love those deep blue skies.

Took them for granted when we lived back in South Africa.
Now we get to see those only a couple of times a year here in the UK.

Thanks! Yes, they are amazing! Makes photography a joy and wonder.

I well remember all the cloudy days whilst living in Scotland, and later England. But the light was often fantastic.
