Nice series Barrie. If I was pressed then the last would be my favourite - for the scenery and the leading line of the creek under the bridge. As others have pointed out the colours here are spot-on. Glad you fought any such urge to bump up the saturation or....God forbid...venture into HDR. (y)

Oh I'm a plain and simple boy me Mark, minimal amount of post processing which comes from my learning about digital from a photographer who's main area of interest is natural history, and as for HDR well again my software is plain and simple, so I can't go there either.
Being that it was bright and sunny the contrast was on the limit of what the kit could handle, some hazy cloud would have been good, but since it's very summer like I'm not going to complain too much. I'm contemplating a return visit today and perhaps a ride this time.
I did have a chat with one guy who was using an old Rollieflex TLR, he's got several cameras including an M3, but has resisted digital altogether.

Well if it aint broke why fix it? ;)
I was actually going to ask why, or how, you chose to shoot this series with the mu43 kit rather than film? No value judgement either way, simply curious.

You are in good company my friend! Here's to the Luddites :drinks: I with the beer and you the cider.....

The Bessa R has been away to investigate this film fogging issue, so I didn't have much choice. They haven't found anything wrong with it and I'm due to get it back in a couple of days. They're blaming my processing, but I must be cleverer than I thought if I can make a small fogging mark in the same place on different frames in 2 rolls of film by suspect development technique. I've managed to find a place locally that will develop C41 process films, so I bought a roll of Super XP2 ( cost more than 2x what it would mail order) and will get them to develop it. The fogging only seems to happen in against the light shots. I might revisit the railway mid week with the Bessa and see what happens.
