The X10 looks to be very well made for a Cira 2012 era Camera. Love the Metal Body, dials and viewfinder and mechanical zoom lens barrel. It is similar to my old Konica Auto S3 Rangefinder from the 70's that I used to take on my bicycle excursions thru Canada and USA. I Let the person that I was riding with take some shots one day while cursing down the highway, and he dropped it on the road.
Ouch I said to my self, But.............
I picked it up and it was still working, imagine that. Has a nice dent in the top plate to remind me of that wonderful trip to Jasper Canada.
The Fujifilm X10 is the same width but the Konica is taller and deeper and of course heavier as well. So it is with fond memories that the Fuji X10 brought back to me when I first took it out of the box today. Really looking forward to making some photographs with it. I enclosed a shot I took today of my old shop work hat that my Brother gave me after 9/11.
Will shoot some more this weekend when I get a chance, after reading the manual and playing some more. Much different than my G2 m43 camera. I guess it will take a while to figure this X10 out. Will post some more comments about the X10 later after I shoot with it for a month or more. But as Tom Cruse said " Its looking good so far"
Dennis.
