Just wanted to thank Ray and Amin, I had a great time, these are a lot of fun, never thought I would enjoy doing podcasting this much.
But I do need to point out I was wrong and Amin right it is a the Leica 2.

Bob, I'm having a ton of fun too - I'm really lucky that you, Ray, Armanius, and Terry have all been real naturals at this!

Re: the S2, no biggie at all - impossible to keep all these numbers and letters straight. Did they ever even have an S1? If the new Olympus is going to be the E-M5, then what happened to the E-M1, 2, 3, and 4 .

Halfway through the podcast, and it's great! Great factual information combined with opinions and experience. The three of you flowed so well. Well done guys. Just sorry that I couldn't join y'all yesterday when it was a gear day!! :)

I'd guess it won't be the last "gear day"? ;)

And I really enjoyed it too - just a few camera geeks sitting around talking about cameras - what could go wrong?!?! But I wouldn't have anticipated it being that much fun either. If other folks actually enjoy listening to it, so much the better!

Anybody like or dislike the new theme music for the podcast? I think it sounds pretty good through headphones or decent speakers, but on my laptop speakers all you hear is the harp, which is really repetitive.

Well, we had the Olympus M-1 and then Leica made Olympus change that so it became OM-1. That was followed my OM-2, OM-3 and OM-4. So now we are back to M-5 but since it's digital it is now E-M5. At least that's how I think Olympus is rationalizing this naming scheme

Good show - even if new gear is not my thing. Sounding more polished and professional with each new edition. The new music sounds fine to me - a bit NPRish (that's a good thing). I'm listening on headphones only.

One suggestion for a future 'gearcast'. How about a conversation about existing cameras that people actually own and use? This would put the emphasis on how cameras are used and be useful for people who own whatever cameras are discussed or are thinking of buying one. It would be a good opportunity to hear how people use their camera, set them up etc, and an opportunity to highlight strengths, weaknesses and creative solutions in actual use rather than in a test studio.

I wanted to subscribe to the podcast on a 2nd computer, when I went to iTunes, it seems the contents of the feed is gone and there are no serious compacts podcasts now. I know they were before as I have them on another computer. ??
