Micro 4/3 Three More Firms Join Micro Four Thirds

I just hope they announce lenses that are really meant for the Micro Four Thirds, and not just NEX lenses with a MFT mount like Sigma seem to have done (the 19mm and 30mm)

Those Sigma lenses are underwhelming. I'll be happy if and when they release something equivalent to the fast 20, 24, 28, 30 and 50 that they have for the APS-C DSLR's. But I suppose if Sigma does that specifically for m4/3, they'd have to be wider due to the 2x crop. Meaning that they probably won't. Sigh ...

That's not the attitude Armando! ;) I, for one, am still holding out for a fast, crisp 16-17mm sub f2. Whoever delivers will get my undying affection.

P.S. A bit of a porky-pie here:
Olympus Imaging Corp. and Panasonic Corporation jointly announced the Micro Four Thirds System standard in 2008 and have since been working together to promote the standard.
Hmmm...I'd be reticent to claim that Olympus and Panasonic have worked together for this common platform..... They actually seem competitive at times!

As long as one of them makes a decent fast tele, prime or zoom, who cares what they do for other systems. I wouldn't mind a converted Tamron 50-150 f2.8 at all.
