Faces of Mumbai, shot with Fujifilm HS10

Love the one of the couple on the roller coaster - a beautiful moment.

You must have had a great trip. If you have a website or use Flickr or one of those photo websites, please consider adding a link in your signature line.(y)

Nice roll of film there. Hard pressed to find a favourite, but I keep coming back to the third one...

Very capable camera that little' Fuji by the looks....not taking away from the fact that you were there to press the right buttons at the right time of course

Thanks so much for sharing...

I've been to Mumbai a couple of times, it certainly is a city of contrasts. What a lovely set of images you've produced. I love India so I loved them all. Thanks for sharing.

Your are right, this guy was watering his flowers by squeezing his bottle (he had drilled little spray holes in the cap), and when I took a photograph of that (facing his back), he suddenly spun around, pretending to spray me, but luckily, I stayed cool and pressed the button in the right split second. So this was not staged at all, actually not a single one of these pictures was. Even the obviously posed looking ones were entirely staged by the subjects themselves, as people in the streets and everywhere kept asking me to take their photographs. I happily obliged, simply recording them like they wanted to be seen. Btw, none of them asked/begged for any money afterwards.

I quickly found that Indians love to be photographed, hence it's an El Dorado for a street photographer.
