Just received the Canon S95 for my wife this weekend and we each shot with it. And must say I really like the pics coming out of it, in Jpeg. Also like the camera as a whole and the only thing that I would change would be to put a little larger aperture on the long end, say f4.0 instead of the f4.9., and put a grip on the right side, but have the Flipbac grip coming so that will deal with one of the niggles, but outdoors its long end is just great.

Well ,it belongs to my wife now and she is thrilled with the ease of use ,size, and quality, and I really did not realize just how small and pocketable this gem is.

I purchased the Book, by Alexander S White "Photographers Guide to the Canon S95 Camera " as I like a hard copy for camera manuals, really a great Manual as it tells not only what the cameras functions are and how to use them , but also gives examples and is easy to understand and very practical, as its written by a photographer. Highly Recommended, for Canon S95 owners.

Thanks Dennis.

Dennis, I can't wait to see yours and your wife's (please entice her to join us all here) photographs! Congratulations and thanks for the heads up on the book, too.:th_salute:

Thanks BB, will have to wait for Picss , as she has the camera now and I used my G1 this weekend, as she shot the most with the S95 and is away for a week, and has the SD card with the files on it. She would not take my G1 for the S95, She really loves it.!!! I may have to buy the S95 my self.LOL

Thanks Dennis
