Fuji First pics with my new camera

Wow, Keven - congratulations and those are wonderful pictures!

I'm afraid I can't remember - is that a Samoyed or an American Eskimo? Such a beautiful dog - and what a perfect setting of wildflowers, clouds and blue skies! Each looks very good. Are you using jpegs and, if so, which setting for color?

Can't wait to see more - this is a great beginning, Keven!:2thumbs:

Thanks for the encouragement everyone! BBW, she is a Samoyed. I am shooting JPEG with Mid colour and Velvia film selected.

You have some nice first shots. Any previous camera experience?

Thanks Dave. I shot film for years, including working shooting portraits. I drifted away from that for a long time, only really getting back into photography in a serious way (ie: using more than a P&S vacation type cam) 2 years ago with a dSLR. Unhappy with the bulk and weight (I never bothered taking it with me anywhere), I switched to an EPL-1 a year ago. Was very happy and then realized that I only ever used the 20mm 1.7 lens. My conversion to a single fixed lens camera was complete lol. I purchased the X100 about a month ago and couldn't be happier.
