Micro 4/3 Surprise! I went nuts over a sunset . . .

Going out the door, I said to the better half, "It looks like it might be a good sunset. I want to see if I can get a couple of shots." 63 frames later . . .

I almost always think that the world has enough sunset photos already, but I've recently decided that...a few more never hurt. I've also been shooting a bunch lately, too; despite the fact there are a billion good ones already.

Been there done that.....got a 4 terabyte drive full of rises and sets! But.....you can never have enough of them really; it just reaffirms that the world is still a beautiful place despite the travails we read almost daily in the news. Keep them coming!

Luke, I'm beginning to think that I "suffer" from SCD -- sunset compulsive disorder . . . I can't not photograph them. Actually, I don't suffer from it at all; I enjoy it! And my family are enablers . . . "Hey, Dad, did you look out the window?" The next sounds they are likely to hear is me grabbing the car keys and a camera and the door closing behind me.

The thing that gets me is that, here in the Northeast anyway, each sunset seems to be unique . . . and they are dynamic, constantly shifting and changing.

I have a couple of spots where I get good views to the west. Last night, I was shooting from a pull-off on a little road that goes through Frear Park. Commuters cut through the park. A couple of times yesterday evening, drivers noticed that I was photographing to the west, and a couple of them actually stopped in the roadway (there were no cars behind them) and watched the sunset for a while.

Cheers, Jock

Thanks for the encouragement, Peter. I will keep them coming.
