Sony RX100 actuation/ shutter count

I think the RX100, like the RX1, has no way to determine the actuations. I've heard this has something to do with it having a leaf shutter.
Thanks for your reply - I suspect you're right; it would generally harm second-hand sales to not have a shutter count. My understanding is that the RX100 has an electronic shutter, not a leaf shutter.

It may have an electronic shutter in addition to the leaf shutter. The leaf shutter is why the top shutter speed is only 1/2000. OTOH, a leaf shutter is so quite and free of vibration that it's hard to notice it. It's a lovely camera.
