The 1"sensor Nikon compact with a 6.7-18.5mm f/1.8-2.8 lens (18-50 f/4.9-7.6 equivalent) that's about to be announced in the next few days - provided that it has decent controls, and preferably weather sealing and usb charging. It'll be a while until I will be able to afford it, as the launch price will probably not be far off a thousand Euros, but if Nikon really tries on this one, it could be very close to my ultimate travel camera.
Panasonic TZ100 also looks very appealing as a companion on the tele side of things.
If I ever find myself with a bunch of cash to spare, an X100T to gain the wifi and usb charging capabilities that would transform my X100 into the ultimate single focal length camera for on the road.
Other than that... nothing really...
Clarification, please: The lens says 6.7-18 and f1.8-2.8. I've understood the conversion to 135 effective focal length for years, but this is the first time I've seen a conversion on the aperture. Does this mean that the effective aperture is f4.9 for manual shooting based on a fixed ISO and shutter speed? I've never heard of that before.
