This winter definitely lives up to the wet reputation that the Pacific Northwest has So when the forecast for the Thanksgiving weekend predicted sunny days, we decided to make the most of it and drive down to Northern California. Very glad we did, we had a wonderful two days.
Most of the shots were taken with the Olympus E-M1 and the 12-60mm, there's also some with the 50mm f2 and the Samyang/Rokinon/Bower 7.5mm (on the E-M5)
Forests are always tricky to photograph. It's much darker than you'd think (most of my shots were ISO 1600) and the scene-contrasts are huge. Anyway - without further ado:
