Looks like a fruit bat I met once named Johnathon Christian, on an island within Fiji. We were on our honeymoon, 11 years ago, and stayed on a tiny island with 10 huts and a main dining building. The resort owner was this eccentric older guy and his wife, and they had developed a relationship with this particular bat. He would fly into the dining hall and land on their shoulder, and they'd give him banana. Sometimes, he would fly into their bedroom, land on the bed, crawl up to their heads, and gently scratch him on the cheek with that claw-like forefinger you see in the picture. "Pardon me sir, I'd like some more banana." And they'd get him some. He was incredibly cute and sweet, though he did smell a bit like cat pee.

Nice capture, I have always found bats fascinating.

Cute story, but bats are not a good pet.
