Well, KEH Came To My Local Brick n' Mortar Store...

I know I've gotten emails from them (or sometimes my local camera store) telling me they are coming, but then I remember that for very little work, I can usually get a fair bit more money by selling it myself. But if one doesn't want the hassle of photographing the gear, typing up a description and then dealing with lowballers and packing and shipping, they're the best game in town (when they're in town).

Oh for sure! :)
But as you said, I wanted a no pain/no hassle environment so I was willing to part for less than what I probably could have received on my own through various venues....

When they come to the photo expo in Austin, they give you 20% more if you use the voucher towards purchase from the local shop while at the show. So it comes out pretty nice that way, otherwise I'd sell here or ebay I think.

I may finally get rid of the a99 and nex 5n and get the a7s

Yup.
They gave me an extra 10% if I purchased something from my local store (which I obviously did so) :D

Oh, mebbe it was 10%.... I swear it was 20! That was two or three years ago, tho... So mebbe it's changed? Shrug
I gave my friend krista a lens to trade off cause it was such a good deal to get her a diff lens, lol

Oh, also, I'm still panicking at the idea of selling an x100

Understood & I had to think for a few days on whether or not I wanted to part with it.
In the end, since I'm getting TONS of use from my Dƒ, my x100 was really collecting dust.
Thus I made the decision to walk out with 2 specialty cameras that wouldn't conflict with Dƒ territory....:)

I guess I am the only person who doesn't/didn't know what KEH is/was.

Sounds as though it worked out well for you!:friends:

I keep thinking about selling a couple of cameras that I really don't use...but I wonder really how much I could get for my Fuji X10, and probably the XF1....not sure I can give up my X100.

I'd keep that one, too. I just sold a pair of X-E1 cameras that I bought to use as backups to the X Pro 1's. I realized I'd never use them. One had about 200 actuations and the other had less than 50.
As a hobby I buy and sell used stuff. It's really just an excuse to go to the camera shows a couple of times a year and hang out with guys that I've known for years but only get to see at the shows.
I rarely sell anything that I bought to use. I have an X100 that I haven't shot with since last fall and isn't going with me to Ireland next week but there's no way I'll sell it.
