Stroll Transcendenz und Immanenz

Not sure Paul, I'd probably find more solace in Soren Kierkegaard. Maybe this idea that "Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards" works well here?

Having said that I always fall back to Nietzsche for genuine guidance.

Nice find BTW.

Well, quite, hence the injunction towards Frygt og Bæven ...
I only know this Kierkegaard work as "Fear and Trembling".
I'm a philistine I know - as reading his work in English means I've only received half the message - and missed the subtleties of the concepts hidden in the native Danish. My hats off to you sir for reading the works of these Western seminals in their intended European tongue. Do you also read any of the Eastern masters?

Ha, ha, ha

Ja, ja Raketemensch, feuern Sie sich und verschwinden bis in die eigenen Himmel und lassen die Welt an den Walross!

But seriously, one of my fave German quotes has to be:
"Man muss noch Chaos in sich haben, um einen tanzenden Stern gebären zu können.“
