iPernity signup...

I've just tried really hard to sign up to ipernity... but I keep being put into a revolving door which goes something like

"confirm your email address" (email sent, received, click on link) then sent to a page which tells me go to your space. Clicking on that sends me back to "confirm your email address. I can get a main page by clicking into a menu down the bottom (eg help or other things) and can see that I am signed up, but when I try to use the menu to do anything (like give them some money to get past the 200pic restriction) I get immediately sent back to the confirm your address page. I give up. God does not want me using iPernity.

I'm now trying slickpic which I had joined and forgotten about, some time ago. Not sure what the restrictions are and right now just trying out their sharing code... because if thats no good, not really interested...

UGH!!! Watermarked :(

I'm getting really fed up with all the usual places. Flickr is annoying me, facebook always annoyed me but I am still there, google is circling the wagons and you cannot do anything with google unless you have google plus and I want out of there. Whats a girl to do.

I know. Go to bed, get sleep, decide tomorrow.

Just in case, make sure you have accept cookies enabled for their pages would you?
I have had no problems at all with ipernity and I've tried 3 different browsers :)

I would also check to see if they have any "help" links or maybe even possibly a real live human somewhere (when can dream....right?). I think if someone there hears that someone wants to give them money, they'll figure out the problem and get you sorted out.

I decided to only host on my own hard drive, and keep them for whoever finds them after I'm dead ! (except the few I have in the gallery here)
I don't need the hassle. Especially, as I don't have anything that worthy, to share with a bunch of strangers. And unless it's brought to our attention here, I don't do "photo browsing". I, am the dictionary's picture of unsociable.

haha, I like the cut of your jib.

cookies enabled and yes, I've received the email and clicked on the sent link. having another email sent and clicking on that link just tells me that it has already been verified. But, I keep getting sent back to the verification page. I've tried Safari and Chrome, and being as how I can't get to sleep, I'm now about to try Opera and Firefox.

[edit] I've never been anywhere near ipernity in opera, and after signing in (which I can do) I am, again, sent to the verification page. This is ridiculous. Not bothering to try with firefox. Clearly its NOT an issue on my end. Its at ipernity's end. Perhaps it doesnt like icloud addresses. too bad.

@Luke: i told a lie. I can get help. I've sent an email. Its the only thing I can do, everything else sends me back to get verified (except of course, if I do that, it tells me I already am, gives me a link to go do things in my space... and then kicks me back to the verification page.)

LOL!! I'm laughing because a) I have finally managed to get signed up and b) they deleted my previous signup/account attempt and then sent me an email that the reply to the ticket was at a link... and then when I clicked on that, I could not sign in (because they deleted the account). Anyway thats what I assumed must have happened because I then decided to try to sign up again, from the beginning, and this time it worked.

I've given them money for two years, the exchange rate isnt very favourable but oh well, lets see how it goes.

I was going to start over... but I have decided to leave flickr behind. Like google, they are circling the wagons and if you dont have a yahoo ID attached to the account you wont be able to access. I do, and its a yahoo email address as well... but... I dunno, I just do not like what they are doing. Nor do I like what Google is doing to make everything google all under one ID, and no longer being able to use gmail without google plus. So I'll be addressing that, soon, too.

My Sentiments exactly - Whilst I like Flickr as a resource & for inspiration I don't like being forced down a restricted route
