New Large Sensor Camera built by UK Developer - 60x "full frame"

Obviously made by those wonderful 3-D printers I hear about

More details please .. but photos are crucial

That's not like you Paul, are you opting for the easy life?

Barrie

It's just easier not to be "controversial", Barrie. I get less PMs that way ...

Presumably that's a prototype and it will get smaller or is it 10 x 8

Smaller? Why would I want it smaller? 10x8 it is, but now I have the taste for it I'm considering 11x14 ...
mind you, if I want to shoot colour film in it as it is, it's around £17 a shot ...

Can't wait for "The best bag for this model" thread :)

Excellent!

Polly, sometimes I find your cryptic-ness to be quite charming, but sometimes I just want to know what the heck you are trying to say. Can we surmise that you have a shot that is not OF the camera that is FROM the camera? And can we further extrapolate that you own said camera? I'd like to compliment you on your "lovely enormous rig", but the wording isn't likely proper in mixed company.....especially with several different versions of English being spoken here. But that camera is definitely cool, and I'm sure the images will be as great as the photographer.

so it is 225 x 200 versus 35 x 24. Is that 60 x 35mm ........ I'll have to do my maths

Polly, "keep taking the pills" they will work one day!

What I meant was is post #3 from that camera....I clicked through to your flickrstream and see that it is.

Now add to my jealousy that you already have daffodils.

That is a good-looking camera you built.

Bill you are simply envious that I have an enormous one.

The photo was taken using enlarging paper as the sensitive material, by the way, for those who are of a technical bent

I would have used silver "duck tape" to give it a "bit of style"

did you use a cornflakes box?
