captivating series, congrats! i use that same combo, very underrated, both lens and that top notch l5 sensor. makes a very compact high quality rig. i do wish for an aperture ring though...

Great series that captures some of the everyday of India; curious when you used the DP vs the Oly since you had both this trip.

I use the DP when the lighting is very good and I want to capture detail. While the camera is bashed routinely, I enjoy using it and find it more versatile than the reviews would have you believe. The EPL5 has such fast AF and is more versatile than the DP. Since most of the tour was Landscape the 14mm Panasonic was very handy. Then when we went thru the village I just kept trying it out.

I remember those hazy sunsets. Just beautiful.

The E-PL5 doesn't really work so well for me from a handling point-of-view but I still love the idea of these little "giant-killing" cameras that pack so much punch into a tiny body.

With the 14mm attached its easy to carry and unobtrousive when close to people. I do basically make one setting and use it for everything.

Thanks to everyone for the likes and comments. Here's a few more

I've come back and looked at these, several times. I particularly like the first. It reminds me of many I have seen from another photographer who lives and works in India, we were "friends" on redbubble. I'll post in the good photo thread with a link. Beautiful work, Michael.

Thanks Sue... I'm looking into 5 days in New Zealand on the way back from India. It's a long shot but worth a look

Nice series. I especially like your lead photo on the first page and the one with the bid rocks here. I am leaving for India on Saturday, where in India were you?
