December Doodads - Day Five

My much used iPod Classic and headphone case. They have traveled many miles with me. Illustration mode on the RX100.

Wolf eating Grandma

Not sure if this qualifies as a Doodad, but it is my relatively new Solstice present to myself - a toy puppet that celebrates the fairytale we all grew up with, Little Red Riding Hood - and of course her Grandma and the big bad Wolf - with a post-Millenial twist.

It's also the first picture taken with my new Lumix GX7 camera. Wolf/Grandma now occupies a place of honor in my living room

If I remember my formula, this qualifies. "The rose, not the whole bush... the guest of honor in the living room, not the whole living room." I meant it to be flexible!

This was my grandfather's watch. It still runs fine but I know if I carried it around I'd break it. (I actually wear a G Shock). It's one of my favorite objects both for sentimental reasons and just because mechanical technology like this is becoming so rare.

So cool! I have my Granny's. No second hand, no crystal, and it no longer ticks. It used to have a musical 'tic toc.'
