Silver Falls State Park is a beautiful park in Oregon with a fantastic "Trail of Ten Falls". It can be a bit crowded and the light can be challenging (first time we went there it was too sunny second time too dark) but it's definitely worth a visit! You can walk behind most of the falls - on natural pathways (the falls tumble over thick basalt lava flows resting on softer, older rock)
North Falls is amongst the biggest of the falls. The sound of the water is quite deafening.

This is Middle North Falls (in September) with very little water. In November it was a much wider curtain. Can't wait to see it next year after snowmelt...

South Falls in the last light of the day. In winter you don't get a lot of light down in the canyon.

At the top of Canyon Trail, right at North Falls (you can still see dripping water at the left of frame)
